Academically, she completed her Bachelor of Architecture with strong performance, providing a solid foundation in design, planning, and technical analysis. Complementing this, her participation in the ASEAN Sustainable Leadership in Infrastructure Programme (ASLIP) expanded her regional and global perspective. As part of ASLIP, she completed the Oxford Climate Emergency Programme at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School. This experience deepened her understanding of the relationship between infrastructure development and climate resilience, reinforcing the importance of integrating sustainability into policy and practice.
Her role contributes to the Tibar Bay Port project, ensuring the construction works complies with engineering standards, safety requirements, and long-term infrastructure performance. This strengthened her understanding on technical execution that directly impacts national development outcomes. Her goal is to grow into a leadership role within the Ministry of Public Works in Timor-Leste, where she can influence policy, strengthen institutional capacity and contribute to long-term national development in Timor-Leste, which she believes there are strong potential for collaboration in areas such as sustainable urban development, resilient housing systems, and infrastructure policy innovation.
