ABOUT the course

ASLIP is an executive leadership course, designed to empower you to make a lasting, positive impact in addressing the urban and infrastructural challenges of the future. Building on our successful 2023 program, we’re elevating your experience with new content and dynamic delivery methods.

You will dive into a myriad of themes encompassing project planning, preparation, appraisal, funding, procurement, and future-proofing of the places that we live, work, play, and learn. You will also explore the critical infrastructure that binds these elements together, creating sustainable built environments that champion diversity, equity and inclusivity.

This course is rich with case studies and aligns with MPAC 2025's initiatives to foster resilience building. It's crafted to arm ASEAN policy makers and practitioners with the necessary skills, knowledge base, and strategic thinking to bring sustainability to life in their work. It offers valuable insights to plan, procure, and 'build back better', creating habitats that will serve both present and future generations.

Dynamic delivery

The ASLIP 2024 programme has been refreshed to better meet the needs of Infrastructure practitioners across ASEAN. Participants of ASLIP 2024 can look forward to:

  • Shorter and more impactful programme
  • Wider focus on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)
  • Online learning from Cambridge University CISL
  • In-person residential workshop with case-study and private sector sharing sessions with your cohort
  • Engagement, networking and mentoring with Alumni

CISL On-line academic programme:

“Business and Climate Change: Towards Net Zero Emissions”, an 8-week interactive experience by Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) that will develop capabilities to deliver resilient and sustainable outcomes through infrastructure.

Residential:

3-day residential workshop which gives participants a focused in-person learning experience over a 3-day period, the sessions will include case study learnings, supported by private sector sharing sessions which include topics such as framework, models and systems delivered by world leading experts and professionals, with the final day open to the ASLIP Alumni to keep updated on new contents.
