Programme delivery

The ASLIP 2025 programme has been redesigned to better accommodate the busy schedules of infrastructure practitioners across ASEAN. The updated programme is now more concise and places a stronger emphasis on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. It features a hybrid learning model, combining an online course from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) with a 3-day residential workshop. This workshop not only includes case studies and interactive sessions but also offers a valuable opportunity to connect with alumni to ensure that participants stay current with the latest insights and developments.

LSE Online Academic Programme

The 6-week interactive online course, "Sustainability: Environment, Economy, and Society" by LSE, is designed to develop the capabilities needed to deliver resilient and sustainable outcomes through infrastructure. The course consists of 6 modules with each addressing different aspects of sustainability.
Participants who successfully complete the "Sustainability: Environment, Economy, and Society" course will be awarded a certificate of completion.

Residential Event

The 3-day residential workshop offers participants a focused, in-person learning experience. The sessions will include case study analyses and sharing sessions from private sector, covering topics such as frameworks, procurement, digitalisation and functional systems delivered by world-leading experts and professionals. The final day is reserved for ASLIP Alumni, offering them a chance to stay informed about the latest content and advancements.

The course will be delivered by a diverse group of global academics, policy leaders, and practitioners from ASEAN and beyond, ensuring a blend of theoretical and practical knowledge. Experts will be drawn from organisations such as The World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Department for Business and Trade (UK Government), Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), Mott MacDonald, ARUP, PricewaterhouseCoopers, KPMG, and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The programme will also feature influential thought leaders who will participate in lectures, workshops, and in-person engagement, providing valuable insights that will enhance the course.
