How a project is financially structured is integral to delivery of infrastructure. Understanding the different solutions for structuring bankable projects and attracting private investment is critical. This session will introduce UK Innovative Funding and Financing and explore the three main levers for attracting private capital to infrastructure: revenue, risk management and financing levers, through case studies. In particular the funding levers of value capture and ancillary revenue (through the use of asset recycling) will be explored with a focus on understanding their applicability to ASEAN markets.
We will also cover the role of PIDG in providing capital throughout whole life cycle of infrastructure projects.
